November 2025Wunderschönes Airbnb, man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, was den Aufenthalt noch schöner macht. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und der Pool ist auch eine tolle Abkühlung. Ohne Roller/Auto etwas schwieriger zu erreichen. Aber Rollerverleih gibt’s direkt um die Ecke. Kontakt zum Host immer gut gegeben. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen! :)

February 2025Joaquin's place was very beautiful and comfortable, I stayed with my girlfriend for a night for valentines day. We loved having the laundry machine, as we had been traveling for weeks and the two air conditioners kept us very comfortable. My only downside is that for the price, it was very basic compared to similarly priced accommodations we stayed in the exact same area. The late check-in (4pm) and early check-out time (11am) was inconvenient, the pool was dirty and cold, and the kitchen had the basic cooking utensils but no sharp knives, coffee or salt. At this price point for this area I would expect more, as cheaper rentals in the area are very comparable in quality and have much more to offer in terms of amenities.

February 2025Le logement est top ! Nous aurons aimé pouvoir y rester un peu plus. Nous avons eu une petite mésaventure à notre arrivée mais l’hôte a été extrêmement réactif et tout est très vite rentré dans l’ordre. Nous recommandons ce lieu. Attention la route d’accès est très chaotique.

January 2025If you’re looking for a cozy, modern homestay that is close to all of the action Tulum offers but set back from the noisiest bits, this one is for you. We came to Tulum for Zamna and Day Zero, but didn’t want to stay in the Hotel Zone. When we wanted a taste of the beach clubs, we rented bikes and enjoyed a sun-drenched 20-minute ride each way to the beach. La Veleta’s cute and diverse selection of bars, restaurants, nail salons and gyms were a short walk away. Joaquin and his team were a joy to communicate with – proactive and responsive. Highly recommend.

January 2025Joaquin’s place was pleasant. It was a good space for our week long trip. It’s located about a 10min walk from downtown La Veleta and a ~25 min drive from the beach. Given the state of roads in Tulum, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have an ATV or car, the road leading to the building was flooded multiple times during our stay. However it’s a great neighborhood that feels much less pretentious than Tulum Beach with lots of great food and little boutiques. And we always felt safe walking to and from our place. The unit itself is on a 3rd floor walkup of a new building with a private courtyard. The kitchen has some essentials but is pretty bare. The AC works great and shower and bathroom are nice. The outdoor jacuzzi is actually a coldwater pool. We loved the blackout curtains in the bedroom! The team managing the unit were responsive and helped us troubleshoot our check-in as well as got us extra towels.

November 2024Le logement était propre et correspondait à la description. il est très confortable et cosy. L'hôte a été très avenant et répondait rapidement. Nous avons eu un problème pour rentrer dans l'appartement le deuxième jour et l'hôte a été très réactif. Très bon service de sa part. Cependant, je trouve qu'il manquait d'équipements de cuisine pour pouvoir se faire à manger. Plusieurs détails auraient été apprécié ( plus d'essuis de bain, plus de papier toilets, savon douche fournit, café ou bouteilles d'eau.) Je pense qu'il faudrait préciser qu'il est plus agréables et facile de se rendre au logement avec un véhicule, les routes ne sont pas encore finie et le logement est quand même loin des commodité ( +- 35 minutes à pieds)
